How it works
Recover Australia has a treatment room within its Northern branch The Recovery Centre, here we offer a range of treatments fo people to access to take a holistic approach to their recovery journey.
Treatments include neuromusculoskeletal care, powerful evidence-based complementary therapies in the form of aromatic medicine, nutritional and exercise advice, acupressure and meridian therapies, relaxation and breathing education techniques, reflexology, and meditation, just to name a few.
Fees.
Treatments are $20 with clinical Myotherapist but this can be negotiated if needed. Please contact the clinic to arrange an appointment
Collaborative Partnerships
Advanced Clinical Myotherapy is pleased to provide Clinical Myotherapy and Integrated Healthcare Services at The Recovery Centre (an initiative of Recover Australia); Australia's first integrated centre for mental health and associated services.
Péta Phelan and Kim Mulligan started Advanced Clinical Myotherapy at the Recovery Centre in partnership with Recover Australia in August of 2011. This was born out of a need to assist people's access to both orthodox and complementary healthcare no matter circumstances they find themselves in.
We understand that many physical musculoskeletal complaints arise from psychological causes, and that therapeutic touch is a powerful tool in improving clinical outcomes in mental health. We endeavour to provide not only neuromusculoskeletal care, but also powerful evidence-based complementary therapies in the form of aromatic medicine, nutritional and exercise advice, acupressure and meridian therapies, relaxation and breathing education techniques, reflexology, and meditation, just to name a few.
We treat the general public and well as those seeking out healthcare services through Recover Australia and do have a fee system in place to be inclusive to all (eligible patients referred to us via Recover Australia may receive subsided treatments).
